Meet Emma
Emma is an experienced educator with a Master’s in Educational Leadership and eight years of teaching experience, primarily focused on rural and Indigenous communities. Throughout her career, Emma has dedicated herself to helping struggling readers build strong literacy foundations.

Meet Cynthia
Cynthia has 20 years of teaching experience and holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership specializing in mindfulness research. Cynthia is the author of two books. Cynthia is passionate about supporting both students and educators and has led numerous professional development workshops and author talks, sharing her expertise and insights.

Meet Lucy
Lucy is a black pug who is 3.5 years old. Lucy is one of the main characters in our decodable pup series alphabet sounds! She loves being a character in a story, the beach, and pup cups! Her favourite thing is to run along a sandy beach. Lucy and Red are two dogs featured in our pup alphabet series, making learning to read fun for kids!

Red is a German Shepard who is almost 7 years old. Red has boundless energy and a heart as big as her paws! Red is always up for meeting new friends and going on big adventures! Red is one of our main characters in our decidable book pup series. Follow the pups, Lucy and Red on their adventures and friendship!

Coastal Calm Teaching Tools will be hosting a workshop for parents of children ages 4 to 7. This workshop will provide step by step instructions on how to use decodable workbooks to build foundational literacy skills. Families will receive four decodable workbooks with multiple activities, stories, and phonics practice.
